Al-Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has received a one-match suspension following his involvement in a controversial act after their 3-2 victory against Al Shabab.

The Saudi Football Federation’s Disciplinary and Ethics Committee announced this decision on Wednesday.

Following the match’s conclusion, Ronaldo was seen holding his ear and then making a thrusting gesture with his hand near his pelvic region towards the Al Shabab supporters, who were chanting the name of Lionel Messi.

In response to this incident, the committee has imposed a penalty on the Portuguese forward, consisting of a 10,000 Saudi riyal ($2,666) fine payable to the Saudi Football Federation, and an additional 20,000 riyals directed to Al Shabab for the administrative expenses related to the complaint.

The committee emphasized that Ronaldo’s penalty is final and cannot be appealed.
