Benzema, who is 35 years old and plays for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, keeps showing that he can still be great. His dream eleven has become famous after he won the Ballon d’Or in 2022. This is because he has played with and against many football greats throughout his career.

Benzema has chosen to put aside their differences and pay tribute to a variety of historical players and former teammates in his chosen XI. This includes several greats from Barcelona. Manuel Neuer would start in goal for his ideal squad, which would also have Dani Alves, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, and Marcelo on defense; Paul Pogba, Claude Makelele, and Zinedine Zidane in the middle of the field; and Ronaldinho, Ronaldo (R9), Karim Benzema, and himself up forward.

In 2009, the same year that Cristiano Ronaldo joined Real Madrid, Benzema also began his stay with the club. Ronaldo became Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer during their time together, and the club won four Champions League titles. Ronaldo and Messi stand out on Benzema’s fantasy team because they aren’t there, despite the fact that they have a shared history and have won multiple times against Messi’s Barcelona.

Talks among fans and commentators have ensued over Benzema’s choice, which highlights the subjective character of selecting the ‘best’ in a sport brimming with outstanding talent and reflects his status as one of the most skilled forwards in football.
