Aisha Alhassan Mama Taraba Resigns As Minister

Aisha Alhassan popularly known as Mama , Nigeria’s Minister Of Women Affairs and Social Development has resigned.

Ms. Alhassan on Saturday, September 29, tendered her resignation letter to the president on the ground that she was disqualified from contesting for the All Progressives Congress’ governorship ticket in Taraba State. According to her the action constituted a grave injustice against her since she paid to purchase the form and had been a loyal member of the party since 2014.
