The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar have alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari was not qualified to contest the last presidential election.
They stated that the election was characterized by non-compliance with the electoral act and malpractices, pointing out that the failure of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to call witnesses meant its yielding to all their allegations.
In a 43-page written address, the petitioners brought up five issues for determination and urged the court to uphold their petition.
President Buhari had earlier called the petition filed by the PDP and Atiku the most worthless election allegation in history.
