Ben Murray-Bruce has condemned the current xenophobic attacks on Nigerians residing in South Africa.
In a post on his Twitter handle, Murray-Bruce expressed his sadness over the events and said that Nigerians deserved better.
I am saddened by the stories and videos coming out of South Africa. I’ve also read reports that the Nigerian embassy in South Africa denied entry to Nigerians who visited to register their displeasure. These incidences are unfortunate. Our citizens deserve better! #Xenophobia

Properties belonging to Nigerians have been set ablaze by South Africans and shops were also looted.
