After announcing the tour on his Instagram story, some fans expressed their dissatisfaction, citing the lack of a strong friendship between the two superstars.

However, Wizkid took to his Instagram story to address the criticism, sharing a photo with his sons and telling his critics to focus on feeding their own families. He wrote, “2023 Abeg make sure u and ur family don chop! Good morning kids.”
This tour will be a follow-up to Wizkid’s MLLE tour, and he has urged fans to save their coins in anticipation of the upcoming shows. He wrote, “After my MLLE tour!! Davido and I going on tour!! Save your coins!! No one hear pim!!”.
