Real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkid is one of Nigeria’s leading afro-pop singers with high international recognition. His hit song Ojuelegba become a global sound with a remix with Drake and Skepta.

He broke a new African record with his latest music video, “Come Closer” ft. Drake hitting over a million views within 24hrs. He owns his label, Starboy Worldwide Entertainment which houses African acts like Mr Eazi, R2bees and Efya.

Wizkid and Davido

There is a huge rivalry between these two and aggravated by fans’ interest. They crossed each other’s path in public and maintain it cool but in the showbiz, they are sworn rivals.

Wizkid and Drake

His frequent collaboration with the Canadian rapper actually put him on the global map. Although Drake didn’t appear in his Come Closer video he influenced the sound a great deal.

His Children

Davido now has three children out of wedlock and with three different mothers. The most recent being his manager, Jada Pollock.
