Residents of Auyo Local Government, Hadeija Emirate Council in Jigawa state are faced with grave challenges in carrying out their daily activities as a result of the massive flood currently being witnessed in the environment.
The flood which worsened on Sunday, 23rd of September, 2018 has stampeded almost all activities in the state. Efforts are however being made by the government and residents of nearby towns to build flood defences so as to prevent the flood from expanding to other towns in the sate.
