Over 50 percent of abusive tweets are now being taken down by Twitter’s automated moderation tools before users report them.
Twitter has been very vocal about how removing abusive tweets is one of their highest priorities as ongoing abuse on the social media platform has made it an unwelcome place for many users.
With about 145million daily users, Twitter admits that a lot more work is to be done in its goal to reduce “the burden on victims of abuse” and to take action before any reported abuse.
