Alicia Vikander’s Tomb Raider sequel is now official as news of a release date has surfaced.
The reboot of the movie which originally starred Angelina Jolie saw Swedish actress, Alicia Vikander, take on the iconic role of Lara Croft. The second part of the movie will be released on March 19, 2021.
Vikander will reprise her role as the action heroine and the film is being produced by Graham King. Ben Wheatley is set to direct.
Alicia Amanda Vikander (born 3 October 1988) is a Swedish actress born and raised in Gothenburg. She achieved global recognition for her role as a humanoid robot in the movie, Ex Machina.
