The timetable for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The WASSCE is slated for August 17, 2020, and the federal government has directed that exit classes in secondary schools resume.
In a statement made on August 4, 2020, Demianus Ojijeogu, spokesperson of WAEC, revealed that different versions of the examination timetable are in circulation, enjoining the public to “disregard them as they did not emanate from it”.
The candidates have been urged by the council to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the examination by shunning all acts of malpractice and adhering to all COVID-19 protocols put in place at exam centers.
Speaking with Premium Times on Tuesday night, the spokesperson said the timetable had been sent out to the candidates and the schools.
