The Ultimate List Of Nigerian Rappers That Should Fix Up Their Lives

The legendary incredible one, MI Abaga dropped probably one of the biggest hip-hop tracks of all time YOU RAPPERS SHOULD FIX UP YOUR LIFE . The great one made several comments ranging from how rappers are standing still like a mannequin, he should probably bring the mechanic in maybe they will rap again. He talked about how South African rappers are regarded as the best in Africa.

The whole track steamed from the disrespect MI is getting of late from hip-hop critics and fellow rappers. It also brewed from the recent adulation NASTY C has been getting from the Nigerian corner after they listen to his refix of Runtown‘s Mad Over You track.

Just like Kendrick Lamar‘s verse on Control, Mr Incredible is calling out every rapper in the hip-hop scene, he’s calling them, whack, he said none is dope, none is great, he’s saying he’s close to retiring and nobody is dope enough to take his place.

But since MI was diplomatic enough not to call names, we reeling out names of potential targets.

1. VECTOR:

The Ultimate List Of Nigerian Rappers That Should Fix Up Their Lives

Sadly enough the so-called best lyricist in Nigeria hasn’t just dumb-down but has had a complete overhaul of his career. we’ve heard the Mary Jane vector, we’ve heard the King Kong Vector, we’ve heard the Angeli vector, we’ve heard the Shiga Vector, now we hearing the Lafiaji Vector. We all thought of him as the second coming of Modenine but he didn’t just switch up his style over after blowing up with rap, he’s totally gone south and the saddest part is that his new style is as whack as Michael Jackson on Fuji.

2. OLAMIDE:

No doubt the Bariga born hitmaker does amazing dance track but it gets all messed up when he regards himself as the best rapper in the country in a track like Eyan Mayweather, it is funny when you drop an album with 12 dance tracks and one rap song. Olamide came on board with ENI DURO, it was the rave of the street, it was fire, he was seen as the Dagrin usurper (may his soul rest in peace) but he switched style totally and honestly he brought the “rap no dey sell movement” his protégée Lil kesh is a perfect example of a whacker form of his ex-boss.

3. SKALES:

The Ultimate List Of Nigerian Rappers That Should Fix Up Their Lives

I’m sure only few people remember the rapping Skales, only a handful will remember ‘Heading For A Grammy’, he seemed like the one to body MI outta the throne but because he was overwhelmed by Wizkid, he stopped rapping as soon as he started and he just put an end to his amazing style. Unlike the above mention artists who dropped a rap track every once in a while, he hasn’t dropped a rap track in years. Safe to say we should we shouldn’t be expecting any rap track from him anytime soon

Also deserving a mention on this list are

– Phyno
– Reminisce
– YCee
– Yung6ix
– Phenom
– Zoro
(didn’t even use a year)

But we need to also recognize the effort of some artists holding it down no doubt all of them all go commercial once in a while but some have totally switched and we no longer hear them flex their lyrical dexterity, shout out to Blaqbonez, Boogie, Jesse Jagz and all other OGs holding it down
