Suspended Lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin Expelled From APC

Kano state chapter of APC (All Progressives Congress) has expelled suspended lawmaker,
Abdulmumin Jibrin. The local Government Chairman of the party, Sani Ranka claims the decision was as a result of alleged anti-party activities by the suspended lawmaker.

Ranka at a press briefing on Thursday, June 15, accused the suspended Jibrin, of promoting divisive tendencies.

He said that The party will not condone indiscipline and disrespect to leaders or duly constituted authority, we hereby inform the press that Jibrin has been fully expelled from our party.

It was reported that the other party executives at the briefing said stakeholders reached a unanimous decision to expel Jibrin.

During the interrogation which lasted for five hours, Jibrin was forced to explain details of the budget process and some of the illegal and alleged corrupt practices by some lawmakers in the House of Representatives (APC).

The former chairman was also made to explain to the EFCC the implemented constituency projects through some companies owned by the lawmakers of APC.
