Sony Music Entertainment has recognized the achievement of Nigerian singer Davido, honoring him with a plaque to celebrate his latest feat.
In an Instagram video shared by Aloma, Davido is seen holding the plaque given to him after his A Good Time Album reached an astonishing one billion streams.
The singer was awarded the plaque by RCA Records, a music label owned by Sony Music Entertainment (which is a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America).
A Good Time was released on November 22, 2019, and Davido stated that it is a celebration of the immense changes and growth he has experienced.
He also disclosed that the album reflects the ability to trust the timing of one’s life, enjoying the best moments and persevering through the worst ones.
