Veteran rapper, Ruggedman has reacted to the recent raid of suspected “yahoo boys” in Osogbo by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) advising the crime body to carry out proper investigations before an arrest.
He said, “Dear @officialEFCC You are supposed to carry out your investigation first, so you know exactly who you are looking for. How do you arrest first and investigate later? It is not professional in anyway to just arrest and parade people without investigations.”
The rapper later said EFCC dehumanize people that they have no right to put people in a cell without investigating. he concluded by throwing a question at them – that do they publicly apologise and compensate the innocent people they traumatized?.
You put them in cells while you "investigate". You have not rught to put innocent people through such a dehumanizing drama. Do you publicly apologise and compensate the innocent people you traumatised? Or you just do not care.
