There’s a protest currently ongoing in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, RUGIPO reason being that the school joined in the National ASUP strike despite having a long dragged 2016/2017 session which they suffered from a previous six-month internal strike actions within a year and they have not produced NYSC members.
The school gate has currently been locked by the students indefinitely. Students want ASUP chairman gone, the rector in a person of Engr. Ologunagba gone and also a big shakeup in the management
