President Muhammadu Buhari has proposed N1.492 billion on the upgrade of the Presidential Air Fleet in 2020 as part of the overhaul of some of the aircraft’s engines.
The President presented the amount as part of the 2020 Appropriation Bill in a joint session with the National Assembly.
About N792 million is meant for mandatory upgrade and installation of live TV and internet service while N650 million is to be spent on “compliance with mandatory upgrades on PAF aircraft”. N250 million has been appropriated for aviation fuel.
