President Buhari Returns To Nigeria From New York

President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Abuja this morning after his trip to the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74) in New York, a day ahead of schedule.

The President was earlier scheduled to return to the country on Sunday morning at about 7 am but the presidential airplane carrying him, his aides, and members of his entourage landed at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja in the early hours of Saturday, September 28, 2019.

At the event in New York, Buhari announced his plans to reverse the adverse effects of climate change in Nigeria, stating that it was a human-induced phenomenon.

President Buhari also met with other world leaders, business experts, and international organizations before leaving New York.
