President Buhari Mourns Death Of Former Classmate, Dr Tukur Abdullahi

President Buhari has announced the death of one of his classmates, Dr. Tukur Abdullahi, a Kaduna based medical doctor, who recently died at the National Hospital, Abuja.

The president describes his deceased  classmate as a gentleman, compassionate and dedicated professional.

According to him, the doctor who established and operated Jinya Specialist Hospital was an “epitome of  kindness, warmth and care which he brought into medical practice.’

 “As one of those who schooled with the deceased, I was always delighted to be associated with the gentleman, who was so nice,”

“I am deeply touched by the demise of Dr Tukur, one of the finest medical doctors you can ever meet. May Allah bless his gentle soul, and reward his good deeds with paradise. “May God comfort his family and give them the fortitude to overcome this irreparable loss

He said in a statement sent to journalists by his spokesman, Femi Adesina.

The president sent his condolences to Dr Tukur’s family, Katsina Emirate, government and people of Katsina over the sad loss, urging them to find solace in his good works.

The president had travelled to Daura, his hometown, to cast his ballot in the March 9 governorship and state assembly polls when he received a courtesy visit from his classmates in the 1953 set former classmates f Katsina Middle School in Daura, visited him.
