Oshiomhole Is Too Small For That - Gov. Yari Disagrees On Sack Order

Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari of Zamfara state in a press briefing on Friday, October 5, 2018 has come under the desolation order issued by the national headquarters of the APC on the Zamfara state executive of the party, saying no national secretariat of the party has no such power to affect such sack order.

He said the party national chairman Mr. Adams Oshiomhole “is too small to do that”, adding that Oshiomhole is acting on his own and he will not obey his instruction.

Yari also warns that if the APC national leadership make the mistake reassigning Dr. Abubakar Fari to conduct the rescheduled guber primaries, he should in his own interest stay away from stepping his foot into the soil of the state “otherwise will have himself to blame”, he stressed.

The governor, however, agrees for someone else to be assigned for the exercise but never again the Abubakar because “I would rather lose my life and be buried” he said, “than to accept the committee headed by Dr. Fari”

He then enjoined all members of the party in the state to come out amass and join a peaceful demonstration to the state police command in protest against the Oshiomhole arbitrary order.

Responding on the rumors that he he is planning to defect to. The opposition party PDP, Yari said he will never renounce his APC membership because “I was part of the formation of the APC which I toiled for its develop not and there no way they I will ever dream of leaving it”
