History won’t forget nor forgive the constituted authority of the pacesetter (Oyo State) for the inhuman actions carried out today 19th August 2018 for the demolition of YINKA AYEFELE‘ S Radio Station (FRESH F.M), an establishment that worth over 800m.
Aside from the fact that this action is clueless, it is undemocratic, inhuman and shouldn’t be encouraged by well-meaning citizens of a modern democratic society.
It is highly regrettable that an establishment that provides job opportunities for over 300 Oyo state indigenes could face such humiliation by a democratically elected governor of that state.
This is not the kind of pace we intend setting for other states to follow, hence, on behalf of the good people of Oyo State, we condemned this action from the tyrant in power.
The questions well-meaning citizens of the country should ask His Excellency are as follows
1. Of what benefit will this action bring to the good people of Oyo State?
2. Had it been Yinka Ayefele is from Oyo State, will the state government demolish his establishment?
3. Did the state government give a go-ahead before establishing FRESH F. M or Not?
4. If Yinka Ayefele made up his mind to sack all Oyo State indigenes working under him today due to this callous act from the state government, what becomes the fate of over 300 indigenes of the state?
It is crystal clear to all and sundry that the government and leadership of APC is a government of witch-hunting, only those who belong to their party enjoins dividend of modern democracy.
The leadership of Oyo APC has shown their cluelessness in every sector of the state, hence by so doing, we will definitely reject them come 2019 general elections.
We say no to the government of intimidation, victimization and oppression of both public and private organizations in the State.
