Mr. Eazi is one of the Nigerian acts projecting to the international scene of late. Though in buzz for his controversial opinion on Nigerian-Ghanaian sound, he’s still in the hearts of many for the great Afro music he’s delivered in the few years of his emergence.
Mr Eazi recently hooked up with dancehall act, Major Lazer to make an international remix of one of hit songs from Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos album, Leg Over and they pulled French Montana and TY Dolla $ign on this. This joint could turn out to be the biggest international remix by a Nigerian artist as the vibe came in the least expected way.
French Montana ushered in with the intro; You know what it is, when you hear that “Haaan”
Mr Eazi, Major Lazer, Montana.. Delivering the first verse of the remix, Montana followed a regular pattern to blend with the beat. TY Dolla $ign sparked something different on his verse, slowing it down with a rhythmic flow, something close to pure RnB.
Major Lazer’s remake of the sound was all that mattered, he’s was solely responsible for the freshness in the sound.
