Barcelona Forward, Lionel Messi will miss Monday training back amid his ongoing dispute with the club after he refused to attend coronavirus testing on Sunday. Messi no longer considers himself as part of Barcelona team, all he needs right now is a successful transfer to the club of his choice, most likely, Manchester City.
Messi’s absence comes as he is on course for a legal battle with the club over his desire to exit after LaLiga released a statement insisting his £624million release clause still stands.
Other Barcelona players such as Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Sergio Busquet, Antonnie Griezmann etc missed the first day of pre-season.
