Paris Saint Germain player Kylian Mbappe has broken Lionel Messi’s record to become the youngest player in the Champions League to score 15 goals.

Lionel Messi had previously beaten Real Madrid legend, Raul’s mark of 22years and 163 days to hold the record but now Mbappe’s hat-trick in PSG’s 5-0 thrashing of Club Brugge has made him claim the title at 20years and 306 days.

The hat-trick also makes Mbappe the first substitute player in the Champions League to score thrice since Joseba Llorente did the same in October 2008 for Villareal.

Kylian Mbappe Lottin was born on December 20, 1998, and is a French professional player considered one of the best in the world. He is notable for his speed, dribbling, and finishing.

He made his senior debut for France in 2017 at the age of 18 and at the FIFA World Cup, became the youngest French player to score at a World Cup, and the second teenage player after Pele to score in a World Cup Final.
