‘Marrying A Woman Makes Her Your Equal, Not Your Subject’ – Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri says that a woman’s place is beside a man, not behind him

Famous lawyer Reno Omokri has shared some insight into how men ought to see and treat their wives.

In a time when feminists have continued to assert their relevance in a society that seems built to relegate the female gender, Reno Omokri has stated that married men should see their wives as their equals.

According to him, the fact that the man is the head in a marriage doesn’t mean that the wife is a subject. He says that she is equal to the man, adding that the husband is only the first among equals.

Omokri also opines that a wife belongs beside her husband, not behind him.

His words:

Once you marry a woman, she becomes your equal, not your subject. You are the head. But that does not make her lower than you. It just means that you, as husband, are the first between equals. Your wife belongs beside you, not behind you.”
