Kanye West Quits Jay Z's Tidal For Owing Him $3million

Kanye West has reportedly parted ways with Jay Z‘s streaming company, Tidal over an alleged $3million owed to the former.

Kanye has been at loggerheads with Tidal for a long while as both parties accuse one another of breaching contract agreement.

According to reports by TMZ, Tidal has threatened to sue West who is said to have been unhappy with the company for some time because he was owed $3 million.

The report notes that a month ago, West’s lawyer sent a letter to the company terminating his contract stating Tidal was in breach of their agreement.

Efforts by lawyers from both sides reportedly failed to resolve the conflict.

Kanye West might also be reacting to a recent eye opener where he was recently dissed by Jay Z.

Excerpts from the lyrics that Kanye caught wind of:

I know people backstab you, I feel bad too / But this f*** everybody attitude ain’t natural / But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him 20 million without thinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*** was he thinkin’? / ‘F*** wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ / But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane

Tidal’s contention however is based on Kanye’s refusal to deliver the video required by the contract signed. However, the rapper argued that he will only do that whne he is paid.
