Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe says it was an emotional moment for her when her daughter, Michelle went to the university.
Michelle Gentry, 17, announced on August 30, 2018 via Instagram she is now a student of The University Of Manitoba in Canada and would be studying Aerospace Engineering.
Speaking on this, her mum in a chat with Sunday Scoop said:
βHer absence hasnβt really been easy. Michelle and I have been together for 17 years before she had to go to university. Letting her go is very emotional for me. I still miss her a lot. Sheβs a big girl now and sheβs starting her own journey in life.
I have brought her up well; I have inculcated the values I want her to live by in her. I have given her the foundation and I wish her the best. Sheβs always in my prayers. Itβs just painful that after university, sheβll probably get married.β
Sharing tips on her beauty regimen, Aigbe said;
βI try to live a healthy lifestyle. I try as much as possible to stay away from fatty foods and I drink lots of water. I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. I know this may sound clichΓ© but that is how Iβve been able to look younger than my age.
I also exercise when I have the time to because Iβm not able to do that as much as I would have liked because of busy schedule. Anytime Iβm free, I jump on the treadmill and burn some calories.β
On her current projects, Aigbe said:
βIβm presently working on a Yoruba movie and it would be out soon. It is titled 77 Bullets. From the title, you should be able to picture what you would see in the movie. I will be taking it to the cinema and I am 100 per cent certain that people will like it.
Some of the actors in the movie include Yinka Quadri, Abimbola Ogunnowo and lots of A-list actors; itβs a star-studded movie. I have also done a lot of other jobs with other colleagues. Asides movies, Iβm also a fashion entrepreneur and Iβve done a lot in that regard. My daughter recently launched a make-up line and weβve been doing a lot of work on it.
