Ifu Ennada Cries Out As Pharmacies Increase Prices Of Face Masks

Nigerian fashion designer and former BBNaija housemate, Ifu Ennada raises alarm on social media as disposable face masks increase in price as Lagos records the first coronavirus case in the country.

Coronavirus was confirmed after an Italian man visited Nigeria for a business meeting had fallen sick and tested positive on second day of his visit.

In her post, Ifu Ennada claims people are now taking advantage of the situation by raising prices of disposable face mask which helps to prevent the inhaling of the virus which is airborne.

“Disposable face mask now 15,000 naira! No longer 750naira or 10,000 naira which was the latest price in Lekki this morning like I reported some mins ago. This video was sent to me by one of my sisters who’s on the mainland.

“Nigerians, we are our own problem. I hope these Pharmacies ripping people off their money also educate them on how to use and also inform them that only those who already have the Virus need to wear these face masks”.
