Sauce Kid aka Sinzu, Nigerian rapper who just returned from a two-year jail term talks about his comeback to the music scene and how he intends to take over the hip-hop wave.

In an exclusive interview with Ovie of NotjustOk, Sinzu shared his jail experience; how he was in one-man cell 22 hours per day for a year straight. He also mentioned that he was able to write not less than 300 hip-hop songs within his two years in jail.

According to Sauce Kid, he could decide to drop 5 or 6 mixtapes right now if he really wanted to as he has recorded up to 17 tracks already since he got out of prison.

Speaking on the Nigerian hip-hop music, Sinzu said he doesn’t think there’s anything like Nigerian hip-hop at the moment. He only knows of the Afrobeats and other few sounds.

Sharing his work experience while in the US prison, he said he earned a paltry 16 cents per hour and worked for 6 hours. At the end of the month, he gets like 14 dollars and the highest he ever earned in a month was 16 dollars. Funny as it sound, Sinzu said he was only using his prison income to buy music on his mp3 player.

Sinzu says he’s not ready to relocate to Nigeria, he feels he has everything going well for him in the States to keep his music up. So, he would be doing his music from the US. His first body of works #ZuFree, will be based on his prison experience and will be available on all streaming platforms.

He already has a song with Falz and he said he’s in communication with YCee, Olamide and the likes.

Sinzu is back now, the industry remains in awe of his next line of action.
