Helicopter Blade Cuts Off The Head Of Air Marshal In Borno State

It was reported earlier today that an Air force officers that took part in the fight against insurgency suffered a setback as the blade of a helicopter killed an air chief marshal known as Umar.

According to an airman who witnessed the sad incident told newsroom that it happened at Bama in Borno state on Saturday evening.

The helicopter was said to be faulty, the deceased who was the co-pilot when to pick his bag and on his way back, he passed through the side of the blade rotating downwards and unfortunately, he meet his death.

The eye witnessed that shared the story;

“Immediately his head was chopped off. The aircraft has been recovered and taken back to the air base. No damage was found the on tail rotor,”

The tragic incident reportedly occurred around 4pm in the evening on Saturday. The deceased family have been informed about the tragic incident while the burial arrangement was on as of the time this report was filed.
