Award-winning artists, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and others have won big at the 2022 Headies Awards.

The 15th Headies: Full List Of Winners

The 15th annual Headies Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta On Sunday, September 4th. This marked the first time the show was been held outside of Nigeria.

Wizkid and Tems were the top winners of the night as their international smash “Essence”, which was recently declared the best song in music history by American rapper, Kanye West, won the song of the year and best R&B single.

The singers also won an individual award. Wizkid win the album of the year for Made In Lagos, while Tems won Best Female Artiste and best R&B album for If Orange Was a Place.

Nigerian singers, Burna Boy, and Davido won double awards.

Burna Boy won the Best Male Artiste and African Artiste of the Year awards.

Davido won The Digital award of the year and Humanitarian award of the year.

Buju BNXN, won the 2022 Headies Next Rated award. His award came with a 2022 ultra-luxury Bentley Bantayaga SUV estimated at over N300 million.

The Headies is the top Nigerian/Pan African awards show, celebrating the best in Afrobeats, African music, and culture. The awards, originally called the Hip Hop World Awards, was established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
