Nigerian celebrities have also joined in the trending request to withdraw the operations of SARS in the country. The hashtag, #EndSARS has been trending for over a day now as Nigerians are calling on the Police Force to revoke the operatives or curb their menace in the society.
The SARS operatives are being labelled as opportunists and swindlers, taking advantage of young people and extolling them of the money and valuable under the accusation of being Yahoo fraudsters. Several young people have come out on Twitter to share their bitter experience.
Notable celebrities like Adekunle Gold, Simi and Reekado Banks also lend their voice to the trending topic.
According to Simi, she and her friends recently got scared with a gun by SARS operatives merely for laughing.
