Conor McGregor Remanded In Police Custody Following Bus Attack

MMA superstar, Conor McGregor has turned himself over to the police in New York following a restless commotion he caused at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City, earlier in the day. The martial artist and boxer is likely to be pressed with charges of assault.

During the UFC media event, McGregor, his teammate Artem Lobov (who was slated to fight on the card) and other members of their team stormed the backstage area of Barclays Center and vandalized a UFC bus, which had fighters on it. McGregor was captured on video tossing a dolly at the bus, smashing a window on the bus.

UFC fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were injured in the attack and have been removed from their fights on the UFC 223 card, which is scheduled for Saturday night at Barclays. Lobov has been yanked from his fight by the UFC as part of a disciplinary action against him.
