19th of June, Saturday marked the second death anniversary of Chester Bennington who stated as the frontman of alternative rock band Linkin Park. An icon of the 90’s music scene, he is still dearly missed by family, friends, and fans alike.

Chester Bennington had a history of depression, alcoholism, and always struggled to fight his inner demons. He had a difficult childhood which was even reflected in his songwriting too.

In an interview, Chester’s wife Talinda Bennington said that he seemed to be in fine spirits right before he unexpectedly took his own life. She said they were on a family vacation and he had decided to go back home to do a television commercial. That was not a very time where they or any of their family suspected that to happen, which was terrifying. They though everything was fine.

Last year Chester Bennington’s fans from all over the world had paid tribute and celebrated the life of the alternative rock and nu-metal pioneer. Various events had organized at cities across the globe, and several renowned musicians recalled the raw emotion in Chester’s lyrics and vocal performances.
