English outfit, Chelsea have an offer on table for Marco Asensio of Real Madrid, according to Don Balon.
Asensio, 22, is without doubt one of Europe’s football top young talent and is being eyed by few big teams on the continent.
Real Madrid knows they are going to have to dig deep in contract talks, in order to fend off interest from afar for their budding star.
On the other hand, Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, is keen to bring Asensio to Stamford Bridge, especially with Eden Hazard’s future at the club uncertain.
Hazard was heavily linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, but the Blues failed to find a replacement for the Belgium forward.
It is understood that a swap deal involving both players remain a possibility.
