Rapper Cardi B has been added to the cast of the upcoming ninth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise.
Years ago when the first movie debuted, few anticipated that it would spawn seven more blockbusters and become one of Hollywood’s most beloved franchises, making a whole lot of money.
Each movie brings something new to the table and audiences could hardly contain their joy when WWE star and actor John Cena joined the upcoming project months ago. But no one could have seen this coming, and Cardi B’s addition has taken fans’ excitement to a frenzied level.
The news was disclosed by none other than Vin Diesel himself on Instagram, with the female rapper present to voice her excitement as well. Her role may be brief but hopefully memorable and fans may get to see her bring her sassy nature to play.
Fast and Furious 9 release date has not been announced but more details will emerge soon.
