Cardi B is done with playing the wife as she has reportedly filed for divorce from her marriage with Offset.
Per a report from TMZ, the female rapper filed court documents in Georgia indicating that she is seeking a dissolution of marriage.
Cardi B is listed as the plaintiff while Offset is listed as the defendant. The report says that Cardi B filed the paperwork on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
Also, the WAP crooner is seeking primary custody as well as legal custody of their two-year-old daughter Kulture. She wants Offset to pay child support (no word on how much at the moment).
Cardi B makes it clear in the documents that she and Offset are currently separated and that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”
Furthermore, she is determined in her quest for Offset to be made to pay her legal expenses and is asking for “an equitable division of all marital assets.”
Cardi B and Offset got married secretly in 2017, sharing the news the next year. The latter is yet to respond to the divorce papers.
