Nigeria’s African Giant, Burna Boy lost the Best Male International at BRIT Award 2020 to Grammy-winning American rapper, Tyler The Creator.
Burna Boy had been nominated for Best International Male Artist at the BRIT Awards 2020 alongside Americans, Bruce Springsteen, Dermot Kennedy, Tyler The Creator and Post Malone.
The event took place yesterday at 02 Arena, Burna Boy performed songs like Stormzy‘s ‘Own It’ and especially aced his performance of, ‘Anybody.’
The BRIT Awards 2020 is the 40th edition of the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. Nominations were led by British rapper of Nigerian descent, Dave and singer, Lewis Capaldi.
Big winners on the night were Santan Dave, British-born rapper of Nigerian descent who took home the gong for Album of The Year. Lewis Capaldi, Stormzy and Billie Eilish.
