As a result of the avoidable inferno incident yesterday in Onitsha, angry Nigerians have taken to Twitter under the hashtag #ObianoMustGo to ask Chief Willie Obiano, the Anambra state governor, to resign or be impeached from office.
The grievance of people centred around the fact that the Anambra state government could not boast of a functional fire service station, thus leading to the several lives and properties lost in yesterday’s inferno.
The fire response that showed up reportedly came four hours after the fire had started and it was from Asaba, Delta state. Below are some of the twitter reactions:
