Following his snub at the last Headies Awards, Pana singer, Tekno has got further honours to complement his missing out. The Triple MG artiste in the last two days has remained in the buzz. First, for being listed on Billboard Top 10 hip hop, R&B artistes to watch out for in 2016 and yesterday was bagging three solid awards at the SoundCity MVP Awards.
The award ceremony, which saw Tekno taking home awards for ‘Digital Artiste of the Year, Viewer’s Choice Award and Song of the Year for ‘Pana’,’ took place at Eko Hotel, Lagos, yesterday, December 29.
Receiving his plaque for the Listener’s Choice Award, Tekno gave an hilarious acceptance speech saying:
‘Thank you Africa, the cassava will always be big.’
