26-Year-Old Corper Becomes Youngest Commissioner In Kwara State

Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Miss Joana Nnazuo Kolo, a serving 26-year-old female Youth Corper as a Commissioner.

Kolo was among the nominees whose names were submitted to the Kwara State House of Assembly on Tuesday, September 17. The appointment makes her the youngest in both the state and country’s history.

She graduated in 2018 from Kwara State University with a degree in Library Science and is currently serving in Jaigawa, where she is teaching in a secondary school. Her screening is expected to hold after she completes her NYSC in two weeks.
