Engineered by Metro Boomin, the album titled “Business Is Business” marks Young Thug’s third full-length project. However, with his ongoing legal battle in the YSL RICO case, he’s leaned into collaborations with heavyweights such as Drake, 21 Savage, Future, Travis Scott, and Lil Gotit, amongst others, to bring the album to fruition.

The album is a testament to Young Thug’s strong alliances in the music industry, offering their support when it’s needed the most. Notably absent from this impressive roster of collaborations is Gunna, adding further fuel to the speculation of their rivalry.

Rumors have swirled around a claim made by Akademiks, suggesting the existence of an audio recording of Young Thug instructing Lil Durk to reserve his Gunna disses for the “BIB” album in a potential track featuring Durk and Lil Baby. However, no such track appears on the album, and Young Thug’s sister has refuted the claim, stating Akademiks’ recording is artificial intelligence-generated, which could be a ruse to boost album streams.

Regardless of the veracity of the rumors, the primary objective of Young Thug’s album appears to overshadow Gunna’s latest release.

Despite the brewing competition, Gunna continues to publicly show support for Young Thug, posting a shout-out for his album and calling for his release. It’s a testament to the ever-evolving dynamics of the music industry – friends one moment, competitors the next.
