Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith has admitted to having an affair with artist August Alsina.
The actress made the confession through her Red Table Talk show, where her husband was present as they talked about the issue.
August had earlier claimed that he had been in a relationship with Jada and that her hubby Will Smith had approved of it at the time.
Both Jada and Will disclosed that at the time the former had the affair with August, they had parted ways. Jada mentioned that she was longing for companionship and used the affair to ‘heal’ herself.
Jada’s words:
I thought it was important that we come to the table to clear the air. Somebody made a statement for me that was not a statement I made that went — cray cray. A relationship, it was a relationship, absolutely. I was in a lot of pain, I was broken and in the process of that relationship, I definitely realized that you cannot find happiness outside of yourself. And luckily enough, you and I were also going through a process of healing in a much different manner.”
