Seth Rollins clashes with Bray Wyatt in WWE Hell In A Cell 2019

The much-anticipated clash between reigning WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins and the returning Bray Wyatt at Hell In A Cell on Sunday, October 6, 2019, is a blockbuster in the making.

In recent weeks, Seth Rollins has been hounded by Bray Wyatt’s demented alter ego called ‘The Fiend’, culminating in a confrontation in the 2019 Edition of Hell In A Cell that will go down as an event that will showcase the battle of the brave versus the ambassador of evil.

When he came back to the WWE after some months of absence, Bray Wyatt wasn’t taken seriously, especially when he debuted his weirdly dark Firefly Fun House, a weekly episodic program showing his dark inner thoughts and ‘friends’.

The talk was that he was trying to salvage what he could in his crumbling WWE career. So, the WWE Universe watched with obvious impatience as his Firefly Fun House episodes came on the air. That changed quickly after his match with fellow WWE Superstar Finn Balor at Stomping Grounds some weeks ago.

Bray Wyatt’s ‘The Fiend’ persona decimated Balor, with a totally dominant performance that has made fans and his co-stars to start regarding him with respect. Why? Because he is a terrifying force to be reckoned with and a very formidable opponent as he would prove in the coming weeks.

Having shown that he was ‘badder’ than ever, Wyatt next focused on his next target, Seth Rollins. Just to get Rollins’ attention, ‘The Fiend’ would launch unexpected attacks on heavyweights like Kane and Braun Strowman, subduing them with his move of putting a socked hand into their mouths. This was particularly surprising as both wrestlers are immensely big men with freakish strength.

Bray Wyatt no doubt has the WWE Universe on high alert as anyone and everyone could fall prey to his dark and twisted schemes. Even the fearless Seth Rollins appears to have been spooked (as he should be!).

But Rollins is no pushover. WWE’s current poster boy has continued to show that he is the best superstar on the roster, with consistent victories. He recently added his name to the prestigious list of the very few wrestlers who have defeated Brock Lesnar twice and Braun Strowman’s might hadn’t been enough to save him from Rollins’ tenacity in the last per-pay-view event, Clash of Champions.

Rollins has come a long way from being the second member of the defunct Shield to cement his status as one of the best wrestlers of his generation. His relationship with the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is another proof that his greatness attracts others with greatness in them.

So, this weekend when ‘The Fiend’ and Seth Rollins confront each other at Hell In A Cell, it will surely be one of the best matches in recent times in the world of wrestling as it could be tagged ‘The Meeting of the Unstoppable Force and the Immovable Object’.
