Ogun state played host to brilliant minds in the world of Technology on Saturday, July 15, at TechPreneursHangout event which held at WokCity, Oke-Ilewo in the capital city of Abeokuta. The hangout event was put together by Tech platform, OnlineHubNG.
OnlineHubng is one of Nigeria’s leading Digital Platform and foremost of its kind in Ogun state. They comprise of a network of tech minds that empower aspiring youths in the field of technology with their courses and workshops.
OnlineHubNG invited different distinguished speakers who are experts in their various fields to throw a live interactive session between them and newbie techies, aspiring business owners and emerging bloggers.
Ayo Sogunro, Abiola Oyebanjo, Tobiloba Arewa Adesanya, Femi Ogunsanya, Benita Nnachortam, Sekinat Sanni and Wole Oduwole were distinguished speakers at the event.
The first speaker, who happened to be Mr. Ayo Songunro, a legal practitioner and co-founder of (www.gotogoguy.ng) spoke on how to manage and earn a decent amount of money from a website you own. He further made it clear to us that the more the people that volunteers to write for your blog, the more recognition it would deserve, bringing in whole tons of traffic, or loyal readers.
The second speaker, Mr. Abiola Oyebanjo, a social innovator, research consultant (www.reboot.org). He spoke and emphasized on how to get sponsors from big and top companies and how to connect with people who are related to all what we do (NICHE) in earning a living.

The third speaker, Miss. Tobiloba Arewa Adesanya, a social entrepreneur, who do is widely known for her Adire. She talked on how a brand can thrive for people to trust and recognize your product via social media, Instagram. She said the use of hash tags is imperative for a customer to find your product and for your customers to find you, it is vice-versa.

The fourth speaker, Mr. Femi Ogunsanya, a social media strategist and founder of TheBeesNG (www.thebeesng.com) He spoke on the importance of backlinks pointing to your blog and how you can increase your domain authority, thereby giving you an instant edge over other blogs.
The fifth speaker, Miss. Benita Nnachortam, a documentary photographer, shared more light on how to use the camera perfectly. She talked about the importance of standing straight when capturing a person or a place, exposing us to the useful features of the camera app.

The sixth speaker, Miss. Sekinat Sanni, a lifestyle and fashion blogger, who is the founder of (www.sekinatsanni.com.ng ) She shared a story of how she made it, writing for top clients and Lipton. She said for someone to start blogging, you must be able to write compelling articles and must be financially ready.

The last but not the least speaker, Mr. Wole Oduwole, the founder of (www.talkglitz.net) He shared his opinion on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) only. He made it clear to amateur bloggers and aspiring business owners that SEO is the content itself Content is King and it is something to key to, he said.
He said unique contents pay a lot as this gives you an edge over all other copy bloggers.
He further said ‘Google relies on us for information, then without us‘

The hangout ended after Mr. Wole Oduwole, took control of the interactive session where the attentive people tend to ask more and a lot of questions.
