Nigerian Striker Set to Join Al Ahli in a Four-Year Deal
Nigerian Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly turned down a move to Chelsea Football Club, opting instead for a transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
According to reports from Sky Sports in Italy, Osimhen is leaning towards signing a four-year contract with Al Ahli, with his current club, Napoli, expected to receive £67.3 million (€80 million) plus additional add-ons for the Nigerian international.
It was earlier reported that Osimhen had reached an agreement to join Chelsea, where he would have earned a weekly salary of €350,000, bringing him closer to fulfilling his dream of playing in the English Premier League. However, recent developments indicate that the striker has decided to pursue his career in the Saudi Pro League instead.
