In a recent interview with GOAL, Davido flipped the script from music to soccer discussing about the Super Eagles chances at forthcoming World Cup.
Davido also revealed what Super Eagles player, Victor Moses, told the rest of Chelsea players about him.
Davido said he met Moses in London after watching the Premier League meeting between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on November 26, 2016.
Moses also netted the winning goal for the Blues.
Davido told Goal,
”I went to the Chelsea game, that was amazing, Victor Moses took me into the locker room and I met all the players, It was amazing.
”Victor was basically saying, ‘you remember that song I played the other day? That was him from Nigeria’ I met them, I took a picture with them.”
On the chances of the Super Eagles at the World Cup, Davido added,
”I mean that’s my country and I’m behind Nigeria 100% so I’d say we could go all the way.
”Anybody could go all the way if they put their mind to it, anything is possible. We’ve got good players too, we got Iwobi, we’ve got some strong men.”
