Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has expressed confidence that she cannot be cancelled by fans, claiming that they are loyal to her. In response to a female fan’s warning about the consequences of her choice of presidential candidate, the mother of one boasted of her grass-roots support and insisted that her fans respect her right to choose whomever she wants.
As TalkGlitz reported, Toyin Abraham and Eniola Badmus have both faced criticism for their support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The fan who warned Toyin of the consequences of her support for Tinubu suggested that she would have to watch her movies alone in Tinubu’s parlor.
Undeterred, Toyin Abraham insisted that she is not a social media actress, and that her fans at the grass-roots level respect her choices. She also denied receiving payment to support Tinubu.
This comes after Toyin Abraham posted a prayer and a curse on her Instagram page in her native language, implying that if she received payment to vote, her fans’ desires would affect her. She also expressed a prayer for protection against death.
Despite Toyin’s insistence that her support of Tinubu was a matter of choice, fans continue to troll her on social media. The actress, however, remains confident in her loyal fan base and their support of her work.
