Nigerian skit maker, Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, professionally known as Ijoba Lande, has been declared missing by his family.
In an Instagram post via the comedian’s page on Tuesday, Lande’s wife said he has been missing since left home on Sunday night.
She stated that the family has reported the case to the police, and she is appealing to the public to come forward with any information that could help locate him.
The statement reads, “This is to inform the public that Ijoba Lande left home to an unknown destination on March 26, around 9:00 pm, and up till now we can’t find him.
“We have reported the case at the nearest police station and they help us to send a signal to radio stations. Please if you notice anything you can FM his account or @ijesaekun.”

The news of the comedian’s disappearance has caused concern among fans and celebrities alike. Actress Nkechi Blessing took to her page to urge her followers to support the search for Ijoba Lande.
In her words, “Please if you have seen this face anywhere, kindly contact the nearest police station. He has been missing for the last 3 days… God bless you as you share.”

Another popular skit maker, Cute Abiola, also expressed his shock and concern over the incident. In a post on his page, he said, “Ah! What is going on? Ijoba Lande is missing! kilonshele? Anyone here knows about his Wer about pls? ah!”
