NBA player Dwyane Wade is showing solidarity for the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests following the shooting of a black man, Jacob Blake, by a white cop in Wisconsin, U.S.
The sporting world came to a standstill after Blake’s shooting, with the NBA, WNBA, MLB, and NFL postponing their games and practices amid renewed demonstrations.
Wade, an advocate for social justice, has unveiled a blonde hairstyle with the insignia of the Black Lives Matter (a clenched fist) on it after the Milwaukee Bucks refused to take the court in honor of Blake.
Wade has also been sharing his message via his wardrobe lately, donning a ‘Shoot hoops, not people’ shirt.
